Pressure Sensitive Hot Melts

No solvent, water, or heat is needed to activate, pressure sensitive adhesives form a bond when pressure is applied.

A special class of hot melts, pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) remain tacky even after they are cooled to room temperature. These PSAs are compounded from synthetic rubber polymers and can be strong with a permanent bond, or removable such as the adhesive used to affix a credit card to an insert.
