Evans Adhesive Receives Women’s Business Enterprise Certification Renewal

Ongoing Dedication to Diversity; Evans Receives Renewed and Official Status as Women-Owned Business

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 6, 2015 – Evans Adhesive Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of industrial adhesives, has been granted the renewal of its certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council, a regional certifying partner of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC is currently the largest third-party certifier in the United States of businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by women or a woman. The certification by WBENC, carried out by the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council, entails a site inspection as well as a comprehensive review of the entire business. WBENC works to promote women-owned businesses, thus opening new channels of revenue and creating partnerships and opportunities that fuel the economy.

“This re-certification confirms how we’ve been doing business for several years, and reflects a commitment by our ownership and employees. By doing business with Evans, you’re supporting diversity in the marketplace and in your own company,” said Tammy Schueler, Evans Adhesive’s parent company president. She continued, “Depending on your status, doing business with Evans as a certified women-owned supplier may provide additional benefits to your company.”
